Are you linked to Embers Bushcraft?

Yes, EmbersSED was born from Embers Bushcraft, an outdoor living company which has been operating in Hampshire for ten years. EmbersSED has been created to specialise in working with children and young people. We continue to work alongside Embers Bushcraft and may utilise each other's experience and resources where appropriate.

Will we have to travel far?

Whilst Embers SED has a number of locations we can deliver our services from, we understand that transport can be expensive and time consuming to organise. We are able to bring the outdoors to you, working in your school or setting, reducing travel costs and time. Prior to commencing any work we will visit your site and plan how best to utilise your space, completing full risk assessments and request any permissions required in order to deliver sessions.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We are an outdoor based company. Therefore we plan to be outside come rain or shine. As part of our resilience building we will support students to navigate all weather conditions. In severe weather conditions we will complete a dynamic risk assessment and may need to adapt sessions to suit, namely gale force winds and lightening storms. We will adapt sessions to indoor provision should the venue be able to accommodate this.
